How can I take a good up close pic with a digital camera? - close up pics of pu

I take a picture very close my eyes, so you can really see my iris, but I'm not sure. I have a new Canon Power Shot with zoom. All tips for making it so it is not blurry? Thank you!

With the help of the macro parameters to get in some good light. You will not be able to do it indoors under natural light at home. It is not enough light and color will be incorrect. Go outside, where there is good light in you. Did you get the camera near his eye, so it is difficult to get good lighting in there, but you can. Make sure the flash off camera. It is also a hand mirror with your other hand to be able to see the screen on the back of the camera. The image is reversed in the mirror, of course, but it is not important, only used for good composition.

Most cameras have a so-called "macro" framework used for the lens when the camera is very close to the topic.

The value is usually indicated by an icon that resembles a tulip / flower.
